Elites: Out of Iraq; no war with Iran

Click on map to enlarge.

This is the second reference I've seen lately that no war in Iran is wished by the elites, although Bob Chapman says here that Bush has decided to do otherwise; in other words, attack Iran anyway.

Chapman - who is an insider - does not give his sources, nor did I pay attention to the one other article I read; I just noted it. Be that as it may, an attack on Iran the last part of March appears not to be the case, as was predicted by many, who showed good evidence to support that.

Frankly, I don't know anymore. With all the publicity about a likely attack on Iran these last months, this may have given the neocons some pause to think. But Chapman is saying that Bush's bosses do NOT want war with Iran, even though Bush himself might. It may be anybody's guess now, as outguessing both the elites and the crazies is more art than science.

Here's Chapman's report about this, taken from his paid subscription reports, of which I may use only a few paragraphs for my blog.

The elitists who give George W. Bush orders have told him to be out of Iraq in a year and not to attack Iran. He has decided to do otherwise. If impeachment proceedings are not brought against him in the first three months of next year and he continues on his present course he'll be assassinated. George and the neocons absolutely refuse, up until this point, to change course. As you know the Iranians are not backing down and that could tempt the neocons into nuclear war that could kill more than half the world's population. The psychology of their situation is that they are under internal and external strain and they believe another quick war will improve their standing both among Americans and throughout the world.
What the neocons have done via incompetence is entrap themselves. An invasion that was simple has turned into an occupational nightmare. Victory is out of the question without conscription and at this stage the American public would go berserk if Mr. Bush and his cabal called for a draft. In a war of attrition with Iran the US would have to be the loser if the American people allowed it to happen, which we do not think they would. Congress would not go along with a plan to invade Iran. Mr. Bush will not be successful in getting UN sanctions against Iraq because neither Russia nor China will permit it. We find it impossible for the UN to even bring up sanctions in as much as the IAEA just spent two years looking at anything they wanted and found no trace of nuclear bomb making. Previously they found nothing in Iraq as well. The US is in a box. Hopefully the administration will be neutralized until November.

Who is Bob Chapman?

This is Chapman's free website, which mentions the above, but with fewer details.
